‘Digital storytelling: Using videos to increase social wellness’

Marty Otañez, Assistant Professor in the Anthropology Department at UC Denver, and Wanda Lakota, a doctoral candidate at the University of Denver, co-authored ‘Digital storytelling: Using videos to increase social wellness,’ in J Cohen and L Johnson, eds., Video filmmaking as psychotherapy: Research and practice, Routledge: New York. In the chapter, Otañez and Lakota present a case study on the creation of a digital story called Betsy Bug about schizophrenia and discuss how video-making presents opportunities for therapeutic change. Published February 2015.
